Delete branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
The showInstanceSpecificPanel setting is all or nothing. You can show the panel in the sidebar and the about page, but if you turn that setting off because you don't want it in the sidebar then the panel disappears from the about page. That seems bad.
In my own site I just removed the dependence on showInstanceSpecificPanel in about.vue and it now does what I want (always show the panel on the about page), but I think this setting should be more granular.
honestly everybody just uses the tos file as an about page
i vote for removing the instance panel, if anything
I like having the instance panel distinct from the TOS, because the TOS appears alongside the registration form. Reminding people of the TOS there is appropriate, but if they're trying to register they maybe don't need to be reminded again what the general site info is.
