The idea

Something like this kind of ?

The reasoning

I was thinking, since you can already access almost all pages from this navigation menu

Why not just remove the header? The instance branding could be moved to the top of the left sidebar, and the search could be placed at the top of the right sidebar

Was also thinking of removing the instance information in the left sidebar when logged in, since you can already access that in the about page.

And I think it's actually good to also have the search bar easily visible like this as well, mainly because of this:

Made original issue a little while ago in AkkomaGang/akkoma#243 but didn't realize this was here eeeek

I have double-checked and have not found this feature request mentioned anywhere.
This feature is related to the pleroma-fe Akkoma frontend specifically, and not the backend.
