The idea

A hide all plain repeats (not quotes) option that would remove all plain repeats from all timelines that would go along with the "mute bot posts", "hide media previews", and "hide muted post" options.
A separate option for when the above is enabled to add another timeline just of what the accounts you are following are repeating.
Separate repeats from regular posts and quote repeats on profile screens as another tab alongside the current ones like "with replies".

The reasoning

Probably the biggest thing I miss from glitch-soc and that is in a few of my preferred iOS fedi clients is more control over the display of repeats. I don't personally like repeats much and want to focus on the posts the people I follow are making, not what they're repeating. Quote repeats adding content onto the original post is why I wouldn't want them included in hiding but that could also be an option. I also included two other suggestions I thought would also be of value and on topic. Even though I don't like seeing repeats mixed in with regular posts I do think they can be of value at times, hence my suggestion on a optional separate timeline. It makes it easier to find just posts and just repeats rather than turning the option I first suggested on and off and then navigating through the mix. I also find that profiles being cluttered with repeats makes them difficult to navigate and find what the person is actually posting, hence my suggestion to have a separate repeats tab on profiles. I don't think I've really seen anyone else talk about this being an issue but I thought at least my first suggestion may be simple enough to be implemented. Either way, thank you for your time.

I think this relates to the frontend and not the backend but I'm not totally sure so I apologize if I'm wrong.
