Delete branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Qutebrowser, Chromium, Firefox, and Librewolf don't render it as it should. They do render correctly if viewed from a Misskey instance.
The only browser it renders on properly is Qutebrowser-QT6.
Here is a link to a post of mine on:
Not sure how much of this is actually an Akkoma issue and how much is a webengine issue, but I wanted to treport this finding regardless.
I use Firefox, and it seems to work from there - I viewed those two posts from Firefox mobile and they seemed to look identical
what is the discrepancy you see? note that user settings in pleromaFE are per-browser so you likely have "render mfm" switched off (which is the default) on other browse
You were 100% right, I had it turned off and I'm genuinely sorry for needlessly making an issue.
Are there any plans to make it turned on by default in future releases or will it stay an optional thing?
mfm can be intrusive, so we should 100% keep it optional, but maybe we should make it default-turned-on
i shall have a thunk about it
closing this issue for visibility's sake (also, don't worry about raising stuff in the future! it's better that we have issues that stem from misunderstanding like this so we can make user experience easier than having you lot confused at functionality that only make sense to me)
