the known network timeline being the very first thing someone sees when opening an instance is not very representative of its userbase

users and remote admins, especially those unfamiliar with how pleroma/akkoma operate, may be given the wrong idea and block the instance (as ive seen happen with some new instances that havent even had a chance to configure their settings yet)

displaying the federated timeline by default is kind of a relic of the days when the fediverse was much smaller anyway, and i think it's only a potential detriment at this point

i would have just opened a PR but it's a small change and i dont really have a good dev environment right now
