The instance is used as an example instance, but the front page of its federated timeline is filled with questionable and bad instances and largely appears to be abandoned with no SimplePolicy MRF.

There are better instances to use as examples like on akkoma.social.

soykaf is also simply not running akkoma, so it makes sense to use a different instance like ihba or something

soykaf as an example instance is something inherited from the pleroma docs that im sure just hasnt been changed yet
